The Web Shop Floor Module duplicates many of the functions found in the Shop Floor Module within the Mainsaver Application, but it is accessed from any computer connected to your company’s Intranet. Work recorded in the Web Shop Floor automatically updates the Mainsaver database, the same as if the work was recorded via the Mainsaver application. The Web Shop Floor offers significant flexibility, supporting several variations to work flow, based on the company’s needs. A typical work flow may be summarized as follows: In the Mainsaver Application, the Work Order Planner evaluates and determines the labor, materials, and contractor requirements for active work orders. The Planner may also define the Work Order Due Date, Start Date, etc. The Dispatcher schedules tradespersons to active work orders. Scheduling may take place within the Mainsaver Dispatch Module or through the Mainsaver Work Order Module, work ordering scheduling function. In the Web Shop Floor Module, tradespersons select and complete assigned work orders.
