Huhtamaki announces plans to roll out
Mainsaver CMMS to 5 new US based plants
San Diego, CA, February 21, 2007 –Huhtamaki America, today announced an aggressive Quarter 1, 2007 rollout of Mainsaver Software’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in 5 US based plants. Plants located in Desoto, KS, Los Angeles, CA, Sacramento, CA, Hammond, IN and Phoenix, AZ will be installed with the latest Mainsaver release, Version 10.0.103.
Integral to the multiple installations is the development of an interface between Mainsaver and the existing BPCS program. This interface will allow materials data to be exchanged between the two programs resulting in the ability of Mainsaver to plan and issue purchase order requests for repair parts and work orders to crafts personnel.
The installations also target increased data and report visibility. This increase will allow Huhtamaki personnel to more efficiently deal with audits. In the Desoto, Kansas plant audits are periodically conducted by, the American Institute of Baking, for sanitation and boiler inspections. The Mainsaver CMMS system will allow inspectors to see hard copies of completed PM’s and easily access historical records.
Huhtamaki will maintain a separate Mainsaver database for each of the five plants, These databases will be installed at the Desoto, KS plant and remote plants will connect to their respective database via a Citrix connection.
