Dieffenbacher Chooses Mainsaver for Integration In
Ready To Use Manufacturing Plants
San Diego, California and Hochst, Germany (November 20, 2006). Mainsaver today announced that Dieffenbacher, an international manufacturer of wood panel production systems has chosen CEB and Mainsaver to become their standard CMMS service and software supplier. Chosen after more than a year of exhaustive development and testing, CEB will act as the system integrator and Mainsaver CMMS experts when “ready to use implementations” are sold by Dieffenbacher
Responding to market requirements for accurate CMMS data and reporting, CEB worked with Dieffenbacher to develop a turn-key CMMS solution based on the Mainsaver software program.
The implementation challenges for the CEB/Mainsaver team were truly global in nature. The solution had to;
· work with 4 different languages
· operate in 4 different countries with complete different culture history and organizational set-up
· be user friendly and intuitive for users without any operating experience to be able to operate with minimal training
All Dieffenbacher assets are pre-loaded with all the asset documentation
structure in the local language and technical specification in the delivered
system. Preset preventive maintenance plans, a complete bill of materials
list and the asset information system are also included in the Mainsaver
software making training the sole component required for operational use.
Upon commencement of operations, CEB created a list of pre-defined
management reports to assist in operational support.
