Thermo Fisher Scientific Expands Use of Mainsaver

San Diego, CA – November 12, 2020:  Thermo Fisher Scientific has embarked on a major expansion of its Mainsaver implementation.  The company has utilized Mainsaver for a number of years to manage both its facilities and maintenance programs.  However, all 13 sites utilizing the system were contained in a single Mainsaver instance. This year, the company initiated a project to “re-implement” Mainsaver at its existing sites, separating each site into a separate instance to allow improved usage, expanded capabilities, and enhance work processing.  This process will complete in Oct 2020.

In addition, the company is implementing Mainsaver at multiple new locations worldwide to manage maintenance & MRO processes in manufacturing, lab, facilities, and distribution settings.  When completed, Thermo Fisher will have approximately 30 sites operating under the Mainsaver umbrella.
